With congratulations to Tian Liang, FPA Patent Attorneys is pleased to announce that Tian is now a registered patent attorney in Australia and New Zealand and has completed a Masters of Intellectual Property Law.
Tian joined FPA Patent Attorneys in 2018 following completion of her technical studies. Tian completed two undergraduate degrees, in Photonics Engineering and in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering, at the Beijing Institute of Technology and the Australian National University (ANU). ANU awarded Tian the CEA Technologies Prize in Telecommunications, for the best aggregate mark across several third year courses.
Tian continued her studies with a PhD in Optical Wireless Communications at the University of Melbourne. Her research leads to new approaches to support secure and robust connectivity for multiple users and provides a design framework for indoor optical wireless communications.
FPA is thrilled to have Tian as part of its patent attorney team. Tian advises on patent prosecution in Australia and internationally, drafts patent specifications and conducts infringement and validity analysis, drawing on her extensive technology expertise.
