Australia - Required by 12 month deadline

Required by the 12 month deadline to file a patent application in Australia claiming priority under the Paris Convention

  • Specification in English including description, claims, abstract and drawings (if any).
  • Full name, address and nationality of the applicant, including ACN or ABN if the applicant is an Australian company.
  • Name of the inventor/s.
  • Full details of the priority application, including country of filing, application number and filing date.
  • If applicable, details of any micro-organism deposits that have been made, or intending to be made before the 12 month deadline, including accession number of the deposit, and the name of the depository institution.

To follow

  • Formal drawings (within 2 months from the filing date). If formal drawings are not lodged by this date, the application will lapse.
